NEW DELHI: Hon1egrown telec01n gear 1naker HFCL has entered into a strategic partnership with General Atomics Aeronautical Systen1s Incorporated (GA-ASI) to develop and supply critical sub-syste1ns for GA-ASI's advanced Unn1anned Aircraft Systen1s (UAS).
"This partnership 1narks a 1nilestone in HFCL's journey, as it beco1nes a key contributor to one of the world's n1ost sophisticated unn1anned aerial vehicles (UAVs):' the vendor said.
The partnership entails the develop1nent of critical sub-syste1ns for GA¬ ASI's current and future UAV platforn1s "reflecting India's growing invesnnent in advanced defence technologies'', HFCL said.
HFCL said it is developing a critical radar sub-systen1 for UAVs.

HFCL said India continues to rise as a global 111ilitaiy power, accounting for 3.7% of worldwide n1ilitaiy spending.
