These CPEs are fixed and connected wirelessly with the nearby base station and so, the name “Fixed Wireless Access.”

However, in the case of Indoor FWA-CPE, the need for an external Wi-Fi AP is obviated, as the functionality is predominantly integrated within the CPE itself.
2. gNodeB:
gNodeB is a fundamental element in 5G networks which is strategically deployed to provide high-speed wireless internet access to homes and businesses, bypassing the need for traditional wired connections. It directly communicates with the CPE and provides a backhaul connection for signal transmission. Primarily it is responsible for radio resource management, mobility management, and others including signal reception and transmission. It supports various advanced features of 5G such as higher data rates, lower latency, massive connectivity for IoT devices, network slicing, and improved network efficiency.
3. Wi-Fi Access Points:
